Most of the trail looks about the same as you see in this photo.

That's not cloth; it's sheet metal.

    We began our walk at the end where you see Route 135 marked, and continued
    down to where you can see the school athletic fields on this Google Earth view.

    The Center Trail begins across from Hopkinton Lumber on
    Route 135. In the picture below you can see the parking lot.

    While we were walking in the area near the athletic fields, this hawk came
    from behind, brushed the top of my head, landed in front of me, and then
    flew about 20 feet into the woods and perched where you see him in the
    photo. He stayed right there and let me approach for pictures.
