one immediately below, with a close look at the middle of the picture, you can see a car driving along Route 140 at the Hopedale/Milford town line. In the photo below that, you can tell there's quite a current there. That's the result of the dam on the other side of 140, and it prevented us from getting closer to the road. |

Our kayak trip began near the bathhouse and went up the pond and river as far as Route 140. Then we came back down, went into the cove that goes over near Freedom Street, then down to the dam, and back to the bathhouse. |
