According to the National Register Nomination, the governor's house, shown in a postcard view above, was replaced with the house below by his son Bristow. However, that's the only place i've seen that. Other sources, including on the border of the picture below, indicate that it was the governor's son, Eben who replaced his parent's house. Bristow's house was at 105 Adin Street. |
The George Albert Draper house, above, (66 Adin Street) was replaced by the B. H. B. "Ben" Draper, Jr. house, shown below, and also on the English Revival page. George Albert and Jessie Preston Draper were the uncle and aunt of Ben. The Ben Draper house is described as French Eclectic. |
